UroMed Sponsors 39th Annual Spina Bifida Association National Conference

UroMed Reps Vicki Sizer and Aratee Shah ready to meet guests!

From June 28th to July 1st, UroMed proudly sponsored the 39th Annual SBA National Conference and Kids!Camp in Indianapolis, Indiana. UroMed representatives Vicki Sizer, Aratee Shah and Andy Webb were on hand to answer questions, teach about UroMed’s products and play with the kids. The 3-day event provided children and adults with Spina Bifida, and their families, an opportunity to learn about the latest medical and tech news as well as a unique chance to network with various interest groups.

Attendees had opportunities to:

  • Learn information about urology, orthopedics, and neurology.
  • Attend workshops and special programming that address their own interest areas.
  • Network with various interest groups such as product manufacturers and healthcare professionals as well as others with Spina Bifida.

The Kids!Camp was an opportunity for children with Spina Bifida to play in an adaptive environment and develop motor skills and daily living skills. Activities included rock climbing, arts and crafts, and museum tours! UroMed sponsored the Kids!Camp by providing catheters and continence products to all the children!

One lucky family got to attend the conference for FREE thanks to a scholarship offered by the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia that was sponsored by UroMed. Missy Colvin and her daughter, Kyra, were the winners. We hope they had a wonderful time!

Kyra loved the kazoos we handed out!
