Scot Hollenbeck
Scot Hollonbeck became a paraplegic at age 14 after being hit by a drunk driver while bicycling to swim
practice. He is recognized around the world as an American wheelchair racer who competed at the
Olympic and Paralympic level. At the 2000 Summer Olympic Games, he placed sixth in the wheelchair
racing event. At the 2004 Olympic Games, he finished 4th in the demonstration sport of Men's 1500m
wheelchair. He competed in four consecutive Summer Paralympics from 1992 to 2004, winning a total of
two gold and three silver medals.
In March 1997, Scot founded Vie Sports Marketing which develops, manages, and executes communications, promotions and marketing programs for a range of clients from the medical equipment, insurance and nonprofit world. Vie is the exclusive sales and marketing agency for U.S. Paralympics and Blaze Sports America. Vie owns and produces events such as the America Series, Champions Camp and the World Series of Wheelchair Racing.
Previously, he was Director of Partnerships and Community Outreach for the American Association of Adapted Sports, an organization that fosters state and national level support for implementation of, and access to, school-based sports programs for students with physical disabilities or visual impairments.
Scot lives in Atlanta with his wife and children, and is also an advocate about the environmental effects of personal consumption, walkable communities, urban gardening and women’s sports as a social attitudinal change model for persons with physical disabilities.
Betty Rose
Betty Rose began her career with Uromed in the Reimbursement Department five years ago,
handling the collections for Third Party carriers. She moved to the Managed Care Department to
manage contract sales for various states. Betty now verifies insurance requirements for various state
Medicaid programs to ensure UroMed has all of the required information that meet each program’s
requirements.
Betty says, "UroMed has provided me with the joy of being able to meet many wonderful people and expand my job horizons. There's no limit to the things I can do within this organization!"
Betty has two grown children and one beautiful grand-daughter, Kylee, and lives in Sugar Hill, GA with her rambunctious Bichon Frise, Jo-Jo.
Chuck Scheibe
Chuck Scheibe has been an active consultant with UroMed for the past nine years and is currently
UroMed's VP of Organizational Development. He initially joined UroMed to train the sales force on the
Sandler Selling System, later adding training and communications workshops for the Customer Service
team. Chuck is part of UroMed’s Operations Committee and guides soft skills training programs for the
company.
Chuck and his wife, Julie, live in Cumming,GA and enjoy life with two grown children, Beth and Jim, and two grown grand-daughters, Emma and Nora. Chuck and Julie are very active in their church and enjoy travelling in their RV with friends.
Julie Tobias
Julie Tobias has been a part of the UroMed family for the last 10 years, beginning her career in the
Reimbursement department and the Managed Care department before moving over to Sales. In her
current role, Julie manages the UroMed Inside Sales and Sales Support teams.
She says, "I love my job and the company I represent. I feel such great satisfaction in what I do and I am privileged to be part of this amazing organization!"
Julie is a wonderful team player with fantastic ideas for company events and group motivational programs. And, she can always be counted on for laughs around the office - especially on Halloween when she surprises us with her hysterical costumes every year.
