External Catheters or Condom Catheters are designed for men, and were developed to lower the risk of damage to the uretha caused by the insertion of intermittent catheters.
External catheters are worn like a condom, and are connected to a drainage bag that is strapped to the leg. There are several ways to affix the external male catheter as well as a variety of sizes to choose from. Condom catheters are intended for a single-time use and normal usage is between 24 to 48 hours.
